Sheila Bryan is a practicing artist living locally in Cambridge, with nearly 20 years experience teaching art and running drawing summer schools.
She has exhibited in several major public exhibitions including the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and the Whitechapel Open, along with numerous private exhibitions.
Much of her work is concerned with landscape and the plants within the landscape. Often going back to the same place to draw time and time again. Getting to know it well is an important part her practice as an artist.
Learning the rich language of drawing and extending your drawing vocabulary through a series of structured exercises will help you interpret and see the world around you in exciting new ways!
This class will give you the opportunity to develop and explore your drawing skills. Working very often from observation, we will look at areas such as line and space, mark making, composition, tone and gesture.
Minimal materials needed.
