Due to a change in circumstances. Alexendra Vaduva is not able to perform, but, in her place, we are delighted to welcome another outstanding young pianist who is part of the Imogen Cooper Music Trust, Christian Sandrin.
Christian is a multi-award winning pianist and will perform Bach's Goldberg Variations.
Cristian is a Romanian pianist who made his public debut at the tender age of 13 at the prestigious Romanian Atheneum and studied for 7 years at the Royal Academy of Music. Cristian's love for Mozartian repertoire has led him to conduct numerous piano concertos from the keyboard in Summer Piano Festivals and for the official opening of the Angela Burgess Recital Hall at the Royal Academy of Music. He has toured extensively in the UK and Europe and gave his debut solo recital at the Wigmore Hall in 2017. In Romania, Cristian is a frequent guest artist of the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra.
The Imogen Cooper Music Trust creates opportunities for outstanding musicians to study with Imogen Cooper in a unique environment. Stapleford Granary are delighted to be working with Imogen Cooper to bring the next generation of artists to our Cambridge.
