Renowned for their striking a capella harmony and polished instrumental performances, Sheffield-based Melrose Quartet are a strong presence on the British folk circuit. All four musicians are internationally renowned singers, instrumentalists, song-writers and teachers and in 2017 they were proud to be named the new patrons of Whitby Folk week. Their award-winning albums include Dominion (2017), Fifty Verses (2014) and The Rudolph Variations (2019) featuring joyous seasonal songs.
For their festive concert at the Granary, Melrose Quartet present an uplifting programme of arrangements from their newest album Make The World Anew, along with rousing traditional carols, contemporary wassails and more. A night to lift the spirits!
